TRAY FRAMES
Canvas and wood panel artworks require a tray frame. I can produce these frames in tulip wood to accommodate any thickness of artwork. I can finish the frame in any colour you wish. For a small fee, sample mouldings can be offered for artists to try against their artwork (recommended)
Real wood veneer tray frames
This range offers a real wood finishes in various colours including natural tones, light grey, charcoal grey and pine. The front edge come in an 8mm option.
Painted tulip wood tray frames.
A wide colour range finished in a environmentally friendly eggshell paint to complement your artwork. This range can accommodate various thicknesses of canvas.
Solid hardwood tray frames
A range of solid hardwood exclusive to the Clapton Framer come in solid oak, walnut and African sapelle, which can accommodate canvases up to 50mm deep with varying thicknesses down to 8mm

Wood panel artwork can be mounted on these tray frames that come with a spacer that gives the effect of the artwork to float. Comes in a natural tulip wood or painted.
