DISPLAY OPTIONS
The two main options are generally float mounted artwork and the more traditional window mount, although there is an option where l include both techniques. The depth of the moulding also gives the artist other options to create a more 3D effect.

Float mount
Artwork can be attached to a backing board using archival tape, this means the artwork can be removed from the backing board in the future. The overall effect makes the artwork 'float' usually around 2 to 3mm from the mount board. Combined with a box frames this can really enhance your artwork.
Window mounts
A more traditional approach is to window mount an artwork. This enables the artwork to be held flat between the window mount and the backing mount board. 'L' samples of a wide range of mount boards colours are available to view against your artwork.

Window and float mount combination
Combining both a window mount with a flat mount can be a really nice touch to displaying your artwork. In this example it shows off the raw torn edge of the cartridge paper.
Artwork with no mount
Prints and artworks can be placed directly into a frame. The Clapton Framer always adds a small invisible spacer between the artwork and glass so that a tiny airspace is created for the artwork to 'breath.'

Displaying fabrics and textiles
Creating a box frames allows space inside to mount textiles and 3D objects. This example shows a football top pinned to polyboard and float mounted. The frame depth is 38mm
